The Baptism of Heretics Can Be Valid but Is Illicit and Unfruitful

A heretic who receives a valid Baptism does not receive the effect of the sacrament, but only its mark or character.

In other words, he is truly baptized, but the Baptism does not benefit him until he converts to traditional Catholicism.
