Francis’ Recent Heresies

Francis’ March 24, 2016 ‘homily’ on Holy Thursday evening:

“Today too, here, there are two acts: this one, all of us, together: Muslims, Hindus, Catholics, Copts, Evangelicals, but brothers and sisters, children of the same God… you, we, everyone together, different religions, different cultures, but children of the same Father, brothers and sisters… Today, at this moment, as I perform the same act as Jesus by washing the feet of you twelve, we are all engaged in the act of brotherhood, and we are all saying: ‘We are diverse, we are different, we have different cultures and religions, but we are brothers and sisters’… Each one, in your own religious language, pray the Lord that this brotherhood infect the world… I thank you for this encounter. Let us just remember and show that it is beautiful to live together as brothers and sisters, with different cultures, religions and traditions: we are all brothers and sisters! And this is called peace and love. Thank you.”[1]

As other reviews of Francis’ heresies have demonstrated, he constantly declares that those outside the Catholic Church (including the members of false religions like Islam and Hinduism) are “children of God”.  The Catholic Church, however, teaches that it is only through Baptism and the Catholic faith that one becomes a child of God.  Francis tells these rejecters of the true God to pray to the Lord “in your own religious language”.  This is to encourage people to practice false religions.  It is apostasy from the Catholic faith.

Francis’ April 7, 2016 address to the delegation of the World Methodist Council:

“Dear brothers and sisters… This baptismal faith makes us truly brothers and sisters.  I greet also the bodies that you represent: the World Methodist Council, the Methodist Council of Europe and the Methodist Church in Britain. I was pleased to learn of the opening of the Methodist Ecumenical Office in Rome... May the Lord bless the work of the office and make it a place where Catholics and Methodists can encounter one another and grow in appreciation of one another’s faith, whether they be groups of pilgrims, those training for ministry, or those who guide their communities…The document currently being prepared, which should be published later this year, clearly witnesses to this. Building on the Methodist acceptance of the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification, it has as its theme ‘The Call to Holiness’. Catholics and Methodists have much to learn from one another in how we understand holiness and how it can be lived out. We both must do what we can to ensure that members of our respective congregations meet regularly, come to know one another, and encourage one another to seek the Lord and his grace. When we read the Scriptures, either alone or in a group, but always in an atmosphere of prayer, we open ourselves to the Father’s love, given in his Son and in the Holy Spirit… John Wesley, in his Letter to a Roman Catholic, wrote that Catholics and Methodists are called to ‘help each other on in whatever … leads to the Kingdom’. May the new common statement encourage Methodists and Catholics to help one another in our lives of prayer and devotion… offering a common witness to the world. Our lives of holiness must always include a loving service to the world; Catholics and Methodists together are bound to work in different ways in order to give concrete witness to the love of Christ. When we serve those in need, our communion grows. In today’s world, afflicted by so much evil, it is more than ever vital that as Christians we offer a joint witness inspired by the light of Easter, becoming a sign of the love of God…”[2]

Francis says he is “pleased to learn of the opening of the Methodist Ecumenical Office in Rome” and “may the Lord bless the work of the [Methodist] office”.  Francis believes that the Lord blesses those who promote a false non-Catholic religion and spread heresies and schism.  The heretic Francis asks that we may “grow in appreciation” of the heretical Methodist sect.  Francis promotes the “Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification” which completely rejects the Council of Trent and the Bible’s teaching on justification.  Antipope Francis says we can learn from the Methodist heretics about holiness “and how it can be lived out”!  Antipope Francis also encourages the heretical and schismatic Methodists to help “Catholics” in their prayer life and devotion!

Francis’ April 16, 2016 In-Flight Press Conference from Lesvos to Rome:

Francis Rocca of The Wall Street Journal mentioned the recent Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation and asked whether or not there has been any change in the discipline concerning reception of the sacraments by the divorced and remarried.

Francis: “I could say ‘yes’ and leave it at that. But that would be too brief a response. I recommend that all of you read the presentation made by Cardinal Schönborn, a great theologian.”[3]

Francis is asked if there has been a change in regard to giving “Communion” to those who are divorced and “remarried”.  He responds that “yes” – a change has indeed been made.  This was clear from the words of Francis’ heretical document Amoris Laetitia.  It has also been proven by a recent letter “leaked” by a “priest” in Argentina.  Francis wrote to this Argentinian “priest” (on 9/5/16) and said there is “no other interpretation” of Amoris Laetitia other than admitting divorced and “remarried Catholics” to “Holy Communion” in some cases.  In other words, according to Francis, the only interpretation of his document Amoris Laetitia is that it allows unrepentant adulterers to receive “Holy Communion”: https://vaticancatholic.com/pope-no-interpretation-amoris-laetitia-allowing-communion-divorced-remarried-cases/

He preaches a new and false gospel.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10- “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Shortly after the details of Francis’ letter emerged in the media (in early September), the Vatican confirmed that Francis’ leaked letter on Amoris Laetitia is authentic.

This means that Francis believes and officially teaches that you can live in adultery, be in the state of grace, and receive “Holy Communion”.  Anyone who takes that position (and it has now been clearly proven that Francis does) is a heretic who preaches a false gospel.  Such a person rejects the Catholic faith and is therefore outside the Catholic Church.

Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi (# 23), June 29, 1943: “For not every offense, although it may be a grave evil, is such as by its very own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy.”

Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum (# 9), June 29, 1896: “… can it be lawful for anyone to reject any one of those truths without thereby sending himself headlong into open heresy without thereby separating himself from the Church and in one sweeping act repudiating the entirety of Christian doctrine?… he who dissents in even one point from divinely received truths has most truly cast off the faith completely, since he refuses to revere God as the supreme truth and proper motive of faith.”

Pope Innocent III, Eius exemplo, Dec. 18, 1208: “By the heart we believe and by the mouth we confess the one Church, not of heretics, but the Holy Roman, Catholic, and Apostolic Church outside of which we believe that no one is saved.”

Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum (# 9), June 29, 1896: “No one who merely disbelieves in all these (heresies) can for that reason regard himself as a Catholic or call himself one.  For there may be or arise some other heresies, which are not set out in this work of ours, and if anyone holds to a single one of these he is not a Catholic.”

Francis’ April 17, 2016 reflection after visit to Greek island:

“I brought the Church’s solidarity to the refugees and to the people of Greece. With me were Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece, signifying unity in the charity of all the Lord’s disciples.”[4]

Francis says that the heretical and schismatic “Orthodox” leader is the Archbishop of the city of Athens and “All Greece”.  He is lying to the world by identifying a notorious heretic and schismatic as the leader of the Church of Christ in Greece!  Francis is a heretic!

Francis’ April 21, 2016 telegram to the Chief Rabbi of Rome ‘to convey his good wishes to the Jewish community of Rome for Pesach, the Jewish festival of Passover’:

“In remembering with renewed gratitude our meeting on 17 January, when I was cordially welcomed by you and by the Jewish Community of the city in the Great Synagogue, I wish to express my most heartfelt wishes for the feast of Passover. It points out that the Almighty has released His beloved people from slavery and brought them to the Promised Land. May God also accompany you today with the abundance of His Blessings, protect your community and, in His mercy, bestow peace upon everyone. I ask you to pray for me, as I assure you of my prayers for you: may the Almighty allow us to be able to grow more and more in friendship".[5]

Francis encourages Jews to practice the Old Law, which is mortally sinful.  His endorsement of their false religion and their attempt to observe the Mosaic Law constitutes heresy and apostasy in deed.  He calls Christ-rejecting Jews God’s “beloved people” and asks the Christ-rejecting rabbi to pray for him.  Francis is an apostate who rejects Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith.

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes, and teaches that the matter pertaining to the law of the Old Testament, of the Mosaic law, which are divided into ceremonies, sacred rites, sacrifices, and sacraments, because they were established to signify something in the future, although they were suited to the divine worship at that time, after our Lord’s coming had been signified by them, ceased, and the sacraments of the New Testament began; and that whoever, even after the passion, placed hope in these matters of the law and submitted himself to them as necessary for salvation, as if faith in Christ could not save without them, sinned mortally. Yet it does not deny that after the passion of Christ up to the promulgation of the Gospel they could have been observed until they were believed to be in no way necessary for salvation; but after the promulgation of the Gospel it asserts that they cannot be observed without the loss of eternal salvation.”
