Antipope Francis’ Heresies and Apostasy (February to March 2019)

Francis’ February 1, 2019 address to the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between “the Catholic Church and Oriental Orthodox”:

“I am pleased, every second year, to welcome you to Rome on the occasion of your dialogue which last year was held in the See of Holy Etchmiadzin at the invitation of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Through you, I extend my greetings to my venerable and dear Brothers, Heads of the Oriental Orthodox Churches. I am grateful for the kind words of His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, the new Co-President of the Commission, whom I assure of my prayers and best wishes for his work. With gratitude, I also remember his predecessor, beloved Metropolitan Anba Bishoy, who was the first Co-President and who recently passed away. I join you in praying for him… The lives of many saints of our Churches are seeds of peace sown in those lands; they are now blossoming in heaven… The seed of this communion, thanks also to your important work, has blossomed and continues to be watered by the blood of the witnesses of unity, by so much blood shed by the martyrs of our time: members of different Churches who, united by the same suffering for the name of Jesus, now share the same glory. Dear Brothers, as I renew my heartfelt gratitude for your visit, counting on the intercession of these martyrs, I invoke upon you and your ministry the blessing of the Lord. And now, if agreeable to you, we can pray the Our Father…”[1]

Francis calls the “Church” of the “Orthodox” in Armenia “Holy”.  Francis then refers to two “Orthodox” bishops (Kyrillos and Bishoy) and calls them “His Grace” and “beloved”.  Francis speaks of them as “my venerable and dear Brothers”.  In Catholic history, true popes referred to Catholic bishops as “venerable brothers”.  Francis then teaches the heresy that there are martyrs from “different Churches”.  Francis ends by invoking “the blessing of the Lord” upon the heretical and schismatic non-Catholic leaders.

February 4, 2019 – Francis and the Islamic Grand Imam sign joint statement: “Document on Human Fraternity”:

“From our fraternal and open discussions, and from the meeting that expressed profound hope in a bright future for all human beings, the idea of this Document on Human Fraternity was conceived. It is a text that has been given honest and serious thought so as to be a joint declaration of good and heartfelt aspirations... The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings. This divine wisdom is the source from which the right to freedom of belief and the freedom to be different derives.”[2]

Concerning the text of this joint statement, Francis says: “it is a text that has been given honest and serious thought”.  Well, the joint statement promotes and teaches the heresy that “the pluralism and the diversity of religions” are “willed by God”.  Francis is an apostate.

Francis’ February 4, 2019 address during interreligious meeting:

“I give heartfelt thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Doctor Ahmad Al-Tayyib, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, for their words. I am grateful to the Council of Elders for the meeting that we have just had at the Grand Mosque of Sheikh Zayed… What we are called to do as believers is to commit ourselves to the equal dignity of all, in the name of the Merciful One who created us and in whose name the reconciliation of conflicts and fraternity in diversity must be sought… The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings. This divine wisdom is the source from which the right to freedom of belief and the freedom to be different derives (Document on Human Fraternity)… The time has come when religions should more actively exert themselves, with courage and audacity, and without pretense, to help the human family deepen the capacity for reconciliation, the vision of hope… The world’s religions also have the task of reminding us that greed for profit renders the heart lifeless… Religions should be the voice of the least… They should keep watch as sentinels of fraternity in the night of conflict. They should be vigilant warnings to humanity.”[3]

Francis calls Muslims “believers” and then repeats his outrageous heresy that different religions “are willed by God”.  Francis says that false religions (like Islam) “should more actively exert themselves, with courage and audacity” to “help the human family deepen the capacity for reconciliation, the vision of hope”.  Francis then says that false religions “should keep watch as sentinels of fraternity in the night of conflict. They should be vigilant warnings to humanity”.

Francis’ February 5, 2019 press conference on flight from Abu Dhabi:

Francis is asked by a reporter about his impression of the country of the United Arab Emirates, a country where Islam is “the official religion”.[4]  Francis: “To me it seems a country that is open, not closed. Religiosity too: the Islam is an open Islam… The meeting with the wise men of Islam, [the Council of Elders] something that was profound”… [Question] “How will this Declaration for Human Fraternity be applied in the future?” [Francis] “The Document was prepared with much reflection and indeed prayer.  Both the Grand Imam with his team, and I with mine, prayed a great deal to make this Document come to fruition… And if we believers are not able to shake hands, embrace, kiss one another and pray, then our faith will be defeated.  This Document springs from faith in God… It is a Document that developed over almost a year, moving back and forth, prayer...  But it matured in this way, discreetly, so as not to deliver the child before its time, so it would mature… But there is one thing, yes, I would like to say.  I openly reaffirm this: from the Catholic point of view the Document does not move one millimeter away from the Second Vatican Council. Nothing. The Document was crafted in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council… Historians say that for a Council to sink its roots in the Church it takes 100 years.  We are halfway there… I have heard from several Muslims that it [the Document on Human Fraternity] will be studied in universities, certainly at least in Al-Azhar, and in schools.”[5]

Francis says his “meeting with the wise men of Islam” was “something that was profound”.  Francis once again calls Muslims “believers”.  Francis points out that the “Document” he signed with the Islamic leader “was prepared with much reflection”.  He goes on to say: “it is a Document that developed over almost a year, moving back and forth”.  This refutes the idea that Francis didn’t know that much about the document he signed.

Francis’ February 6, 2019 General Audience:

“… the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and I signed the Document on Human Fraternity, in which together we state the common vocation of all men and women to be brothers and sisters as we are the sons and daughters of God… This Document will be studied in the schools and universities of many countries. But I also recommend that you read it, get to know it… In an epoch such as our own, in which there is a strong temptation to see an ongoing conflict between the Christian and Islamic civilizations, and also to consider religions as a source of conflict, we wished to give an ulterior, clear and decisive sign, that it is indeed possible to come together; it is possible to respect one another… the Christian and Islamic worlds appreciate and uphold common values: life, family, religious sense.”[6]

Francis calls Muslims “sons and daughters of God”.  He says Muslims uphold values such as “religious sense”.

Francis’ February 25, 2019 speech to a delegation from the “Orthodox Archdiocese of Athens”:

“Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ... my cordial and fraternal good wishes to His Beatitude Hieronymos II, who a few days ago, on 16 February, celebrated the eleventh anniversary of his enthronement. I ask the Father who is the giver of every good gift (cf. Jas 1:17) to grant him health, peace and spiritual joy… Once more, I thank you for your visit, and I ask the Lord to grant you his abundant blessings. I ask you, please, to save a place for me in your prayers.”[7]

Francis asks God to grant “spiritual joy” to an “Orthodox” leader and endorses his eleven years of leading a false church.

 Francis’ March 8, 2019 discourse to participants at the Conference on "Religions and the Sustainable Development Goals”:  

“Your Eminences, Your Excellencies, Dear Leaders of world religious traditions… Already Saint John Paul II spoke about the need to encourage and support the ‘ecological conversion’ (Catechesis, January 17, 2001). This word is powerful: ecological conversion. Religions have a key role to play in this. For a correct shift towards a sustainable future, we must recognize ‘our errors, sins, faults and failures’ which leads to a ‘heartfelt repentance and desire to change’; in this way, we will be reconciled with others, with creation… Religions can help us along the path of authentic integral development, which is the new name of peace (cf. Paul VI, Populorum Progressio, 26 March 1967, 76-77).”[8]

Francis refers to the leaders of false religions as “dear leaders”.  Francis promotes an “ecological conversion” and says people need to be reconciled “with creation”.

Francis’ March 17, 2019 reflection “at the Angelus”:

“… sorrow for the victims of the horrible attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand… I pray for the deceased and the wounded and their relatives. I am close to our Muslim brothers and sisters and to that entire community.”[9]

Francis says he prays for “deceased” Muslims.  Belief in Jesus and the Catholic faith are not necessary at all, according to the apostate antipope.

Francis’ March 30, 2019 address to “the Moroccan people, Authorities, civil representatives and Diplomat Corps”:

“It is likewise essential that fanaticism and extremism be countered by solidarity on the part of all believers, grounded in the lofty shared values that inspire our actions… We know how important it is to provide a suitable preparation for future religious leaders, if we wish to awaken a genuinely religious spirit in the heart of future generations… That is why freedom of conscience and religious freedom – which is not limited to freedom of worship alone, but allows all to live in accordance with their religious convictions – are inseparably linked to human dignity. In this regard, there is a constant need to progress beyond mere tolerance to respect and esteem for others. This entails encountering and accepting others in their distinctive religious beliefs and enriching one another through our diversity… The International Conference on Climate Change, COP 22, also held here in Morocco, once more demonstrated that many nations are conscious of the need to protect this planet where God has placed us to live and to contribute to a true ecological conversion…”[10]

Francis once again calls followers of false religions “believers”.  Francis promotes “a suitable preparation” for future leaders of Islam, etc. so they can “awaken a genuinely religious spirit in the heart of future generations”.  This is apostasy.  Francis then calls for people to have “esteem” for those following different false religions.  Francis says if we do this, we will be “enriching one another”.  The heretic Francis then calls for “a true ecological conversion”.

Francis’ March 30, 2019 text of “Appeal for Jerusalem” signed by Francis “and the King of Morocco”:

“We consider it important to preserve the Holy City of Jerusalem / Al-Quds Acharif as the common patrimony of humanity and especially the followers of the three monotheistic religions, as a place of encounter and as a symbol of peaceful coexistence, where mutual respect and dialogue can be cultivated… To this end, the specific multi-religious character, the spiritual dimension and the particular cultural identity of Jerusalem / Al-Quds Acharif must be protected and promoted. It is our hope, therefore, that in the Holy City, full freedom of access to the followers of the three monotheistic religions and their right to worship will be guaranteed, so that in Jerusalem / Al-Quds Acharif they may raise their prayers to God, the Creator of all, for a future of peace and fraternity on the earth.

Francis promotes that there should be a “multi-religious character” to Jerusalem.  Francis believes different false religions should be in the city and they “must be protected and promoted”.  Francis says he wants this to happen so that “followers of the three monotheistic religions” will be able to “raise their prayers to God”.

Francis’ March 31, 2019 address during meeting with “Priests, Religious, Consecrated Persons and the Ecumenical Council of Churches”:

“I would also like to greet the members of the Ecumenical Council of Churches, a clear sign of the communion experienced here in Morocco between Christians of different confessions… In other words, the paths of mission are not those of proselytism. Please, these paths are not those of proselytism! Let us recall Benedict XVI: ‘the Church grows not through proselytism, but through attraction, through witness’. The paths of mission are not those of proselytism, which leads always to a cul-de-sac… We are Christians because we have been loved and encountered, and not as the result of proselytism. Being Christian is about knowing that we have been forgiven…”[12]

Francis declares that he and his sect are in “communion” with “Christians of different confessions”.  Francis says proselytism (trying to convert people) is a “cul-de-sac”.  The word cul-de-sac can be defined as a “dead end”, a “course leading nowhere”, or “any situation in which further progress is impossible”.[13] This is what Francis thinks of trying to convert non-Catholics to the Catholic faith.  Francis believes these efforts “always” lead to a “dead end”.  Francis is a manifest heretic.  Francis then says that “being Christian is about knowing that we have been forgiven”.  This is also heresy.

Francis’ March 31, 2019 “in-flight press conference from Rabat to Rome”:

“Once again I would like to state this: in every religion there is always an ‘integralist’ group that does not want to go forward, that lives on bitter memories, on past conflicts… one can understand, for example, that today we have removed the death penalty from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, three hundred years after burning heretics alive. Because the Church has grown in moral awareness and respect for the person. Freedom of worship is also growing, and we must continue to grow. There are Catholics who do not accept what Vatican II said about freedom of worship, freedom of conscience. There are Catholics who do not accept this. We too have this problem. Yet the awareness of our Muslim brothers and sisters is also growing in some countries… These are ways of progressing in freedom of conscience and freedom of worship.”[14]

Francis promotes “freedom of worship” and “freedom of conscience”, which have been condemned by various popes.
